Und wieder einmal ist ein Jahr vorbei und somit kommt heute das vorletze Tier von 12 zum Mond – Neujahr: der Tiger!
Der Tiger steht (nicht überraschend) für Mut und Stärke, aber auch Hoffnung. Und ich denke, sowohl Stärke als auch Hoffnung können wir im 3. Pandemie-Jahr alle ganz gut brauchen. Dank der Impfungen hat die Pandemie für viele sicher etwas an Schrecken verloren, aber noch ist es nicht vorbei und wir müssen noch etwas länger durchhalten. Vielleicht ist das Basteln von Papier-Tieren ja ein guter Zeitvertreib bis dahin?

And once again a year has passed and so today the penultimate animal of the 12 is coming for Lunar New Year: the tiger! The tiger (unsurprisingly) represents courage and strength, but also hope. And I think we can all really use both strength and hope in this 3rd year of the pandemic. Thanks to vaccinations, the pandemic has certainly lost some of its horror for many, but it’s not over yet and we have to hold out a little longer. Maybe making paper animals is a good pastime until then?
