HA! Ich hab mein den-Sommer-voll-und-ganz-in-Beschlag-nehmendes Projekt abgeschlossen und freu mich jetzt wie blöd auf Frühjahr 2014, wenn ich endlich darüber berichten darf.
Jetzt kann ich mal kurz durchatmen bevor es weitergeht, und hab somit endlich Zeit, ein bisschen anzugeben! :-)
Ich bin nämlich im letzten Jahr gleich in zwei ganz wundervollen, schicken Büchern erwähnt worden!

Cause i!n the last year I was featured in not one but two really wonderful books!
Das erste ist « L’art du pop-up et du livre animé » von Jean-Charles Trebbi, erschienen bei Éditions Alternatives, Paris.
Das Buch ist derzeit auf französisch, englisch und spanisch erhältlich und zeigt einen schönen Einblick in die Welt der Pop-Up. Man findet sowohl Infos zur Geschichte der Pop-Ups und zu den einzelnen Pop-Up Künstlern (Pioniere genauso wie zeitgenössische) als auch in die einzelnen Pop-Up Techniken. Und das nicht nur durch Worte… Ein aufwändig gestaltetes Nachschlagewerk zum Thema Pop-Up.
The first one is ‚The art of pop-up – The magical world of three dimensional books‘ by Jean Charles Trebbi, english edition published by Promopress.
It is also available in french and spanish and gives a great insight into the world of pop-ups. You can find information about the history of pop-ups and about the pioneers and contemporary pop-up artists as well as the different techniques of pop-ups. And not only in writing. It is an elaborate reference book about all things pop-up.

Das zweite Buch ‚Brand and single page design‘ ist erst kürzlich bei Designerbooks, Hong Kong erschienen und hier soweit ich weiss (noch?) nicht erhältlich.
Auch dieses Buch wurde sehr hochwertig gestaltet und macht einiges her. Ich habe es bis jetzt noch nicht geschafft, es komplett durchzuschauen, aber was ich gesehen habe sieht sehr schick aus.
Es ist ein umfangreiches Sammelwerk zeitgenössischer Grafik Designer aus verschiedenen Bereichen.
The second book is ‚Brand and single page design‘ and was published only recently by Designerbooks, Hong Kong. I’m not sure if and when it will be available in other countries.
This book also is very rich and elaborate in its design and is quite impressive. I haven’t been able to look through the book completely, but what I saw looks really nice.
It is a extensive compilation of contemporary graphic designers and their work in card design, page design, folding design, etc.
