Erfrischung am Stiel | Popsicles

Ombre* cakes (hier ein besonders hübscher) sind ja gerade sehr beliebt, bei mir gibts die erfrischende Sommervariante am Stil (schnell, schnell, bevor der Sommer wieder weg ist!).

*von lateinisch umbra;  Schatten oder Schattierung

Ein Rezept ist fast überflüssig, da man im Prinzip alles nehmen kann, auf das man gerade Lust hat, solange es beim Einfrieren nur fest wird! (Fruchtsaft, Smoothies, Soja-Joghurt, vegane Sahne, Limo, Cocktails, Pflanzendrink, Kakao, Kokosmilch…)

Wichtig ist nur, früh genug vorzuplanen, da das Eis zwischen jeder Schicht 45- 60 min gefrieren muss. Wer keine Eisstiele im Supermarkt findet, kann einfach in die nächste Apotheke flitzen und sich dort Holzspatel besorgen. Die sind sicher hygienischer als die aus dem Bastelladen : ) Und wer keine Förmchen hat, kann auch Pappbecher nehmen, allerdings werden es dann Riesen -Eis.

Diesmal mit Himbeeren und Brombeeren, das nächste Mal probiere ich Kakao-Caramel-Banane! Weitere Vorschläge?

Ombre cakes (here is an especially beautiful one) are very popular right now, but for summer I prefer a more cool and refreshing variation, the ombre popsicle. You can use anything you like as long as it freezes solid. 

I used pureed fruit, fruit juices, pureed fruit and (soy)  yoghurt, (soy) yoghurt and fruit juices and some coconut cream. If you can’t find popsicle sticks, you can use wooden spatulas from the pharmacy and instead of the molds you can use a paper cup. But you should start early, since they should freeze about an hour between each layer.

This time I made berry pops, next time maybe chocolate-caramel-banana. Any more ideas?
